Pursuing her passion in the hair industry, Ashley achieved her hair license in 2006 in the state of Rhode Island. Since then, she ventured down to Virginia and joined the Changes Family in 2009. Finding her creative niche in hair styling, she takes into consideration every individual clients vision and goal to achieve a look that fits their day to day life style. She is always looking to further her education and techniques. Specializing in color formulating, cutting and styling, she can give many versatile looks to each guest.

Arlene Neal

Arlene has been a stylist for 40 years and at Changes Hairstyling for 21 years. She has been to educational classes at Bumble and Bumble University and Wella Studios in NYC. She specializes in precision haircutting, bobs, and hair color.

Burcu Alman-Hutchinson

I love what I do and bringing out the best in my clients. I will listen, help figure out your wants and needs, and help you learn how to maintain your style. I am Paul Mitchell trained and certified in color, texture, cutting, and makeup. I am also an educator/instructor. Education is key, I take as many classes I possibly can to keep up with the newest techniques and products.

Jessica Drake

Jessica specializes in custom hair color services, color melting, balayge, fashion colors, color correction, grey coverage and formal hairstyling. As a Portfolio Brand Educator for Wella, Sebastian and Nioxin. Jessica travels to other salons to teach the latest color techniques, current trends as well as cutting and styling. Additionally as an American Board Certified Hair colorist, she takes into account all aspects of your life when determining the best cut and color for her guests. She has a great energy and positive attitude that trickles over. She is always exited to come to work and make her guests look and feel beautiful.

Kim Varley

I have had many opportunities to further my education while working at Changes. I have studied at Bumble and Bumble Academy in NYC, Wayne Grund, and Wella in Washington DC along with many in salon educational classes. I think education is a must to grow into a better hairstylist and to fulfill all my guests wants and needs.

Daniel Priest

Daniel joined the Changes team in 2008 as a transplant from Rochester, NY. He has a collective of 14 years in the industry, and specializes in color, formal styling and make-up. He takes pride in listening and fulfilling all his clients hair needs. Daniel has trained all over including LA, NY, and Paris to provide his clients with the latest trends in cuts and color services. Daniel is an educator and trainer at Changes Hairstyling, he is also a Sebastian Brand Ambassador.

Angel Blackmon

Angel has been in the industry for over 15 years. She has always prided herself in having a professional and personal relationships with each guest she sees. She has known her entire life that she would be a stylist. She loves her creative side while connecting with her guest, making each one feel totally comfortable and relaxed while having complete confidence in her as their personal stylist. Angel has studied at Bumble and Bumble University and The Wella Studio in New York City. She has also traveled to Europe to experience Tony & Guy education.

Jasmin Fentress

Jasmin has been a stylist for over 4 years. She started her career in NYC working with Paul Mitchell. She has done countless fashion shows including NY Fashion week working along side Vincent Longo - celebrity makeup artist. She has recently settled in the Virginia beach area, and has now been with the Changes family for a little over a year. Her favorite part about being a stylist is helping people feel better about themselves through their image. Jasmin specializes in all areas of hair as well as makeup but one of her biggest passion is color she feels every woman could benefit from enhancing her look with color especially a beautiful, natural looking balayge.

Robby Clark

Robby has been a part of the Changes family for almost a decade now, helping with everything from charity events and fashion shows, he thrives off of the creative energy and environment around him. He enjoys maintaining a personal relationship with our clientele, and making their days a little brighter!

Sharae Barajas

Rae first began her beauty journey in 2008 when she briefly studied cosmetology. Years later, she returned to the industry and graduated from a Paul Mitchell school, Rudy & Kelly Academy. Working as an associate, she is excited and eager to learn and grow as a stylist.

Rachel Young

Rachel has had the opportunity to build relationships with clients for over 14 years of hairdressing. She is a 4 time nationally published “Inspired” stylist. “I have grown as a stylist working for Changes since 2004, which has given me the ability to have amazing education including over 100 hours of education at Bumble and Bumble university in NYC, also a Network Bumble and Bumble educator, Wella Trendvision, Davines Education in Chicago, and The Gathering in Las Vegas among many other local classes. Instant gratification is so rewarding, and that’s why I love what I do”.

Quinci Vanfossen

Professional Hairstylist
Quinci attended and graduated from a Paul Mitchell Accademy in 2013 and gained experience working with clients behind the chair and front desk at a Salon in Ohio. She joined the Changes family at the end of 2016 upon taking the opportunity to move to Virginia. Quinci is inspired by positivity and loves to see guests leave our salon pleased with their entire experience.

Emilie Kennedy

Professional Hairstylist
Emilie has been a hairstylist in the area for 14 years. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout and wella color. She has completed classic cutting 1 and 2 and graham Webb and attends at least one hair show a year to stay up to date on current styles. She loves creating colors with red and warm tones and loves short women's hairstyles.  She has a very open personality and I love all things pop culture.
